I like the kick arse female lead the best, I just think this type of character is altogether to rare in most books. I like to think that I could be like the character and I don't want to be a puny weakling! Although...I admit to enjoying the novel immensely when a hottie is in the plot too! edysicecreamlover18ATgmailDOTcom

I love both honestly. All depends on the author and the characters themselves. Each set of characters is different.

I like kick as female leads! Its fun and such a switch to the mollycoddling females of my moms age. They were either really bratty and spoiled or just super wimpy!!

Both in the same book preferably but if its only one....a kick arse female, so I can live vicariously through her

Well, a male hottie is a bit more important to me, because I can have girly crushes then, but both of them are good and enjoyable so I don't mind which one is in the book.

I would say I prefer both of them and as Persephone said all depened on the author and the story. Of course, when it comes to choosing between them I would choose the hotty hero since I'm a woman

I really like both. And it depends on what kind of mood I'm in to determine which I prefer at the time. If I'm particularly mad at someone, I usually prefer a kick ass female but I love my hotty heroes too!

I like both. It makes it even better when there is both in a book. I love my hottie heros though. They are usually so sure of themselves and if they are not they dont act like it. I also love how much they usually care about the person they are trying to save and/or protect!

I would say no preference, but lately I've been reading a lot of books with a strong female.

AH! That's my bookmark in the picture!!! Can I have both a kickass female and a super hot guy? Is that too much to ask for? If I had to choose, I'd go for the kickass female, hands down!

To be honest, it depends on the characters and storyline. I dont want too wimpy a heroine and yet I like a lady who can defend herself. But I like a stong male lead and yet a guy who stands by his heroine's side. I guess the author gets to pick.

Definitely kick arse heroine. The hero doesn't have to be hot as can be to be a good lead male MC, he can be an average joe with a heart of gold, compassionate and empathetic, but if you are a female, you definitely have to kick arse to be of any help
